I like watching people. Photography gives me an excuse to do it without looking like I’m just standing around.

I’m interested in the relationship between a person and their environment, how they occupy a space, what they’re doing there, and the small behaviors that happen without much thought. Sometimes I take a photo, sometimes I don’t. Either way, I tend to notice and remember these moments.

People and places are always changing, and I think photography is simply a way for me to pay attention to that.
